POWER SYSTEMS

An off-grid power system is a generating system that provides electrical power to a home or site that does not have access to the power grid. In its simplest form it would consist of a fossil fueled generator; started when required and stopped when not. However, due to the high cost of fossil fuels most off-grid systems today consist of generators, inverters, batteries and alternative energy sources such as wind and solar. These systems provide continuous power and are often automatic in operation. When designed properly these systems minimize fossil fuel consumption in the generation of electrical power. Off-grid power systems can be designed to support a wide range of electrical loads; from very small systems consisting of minor electrical loads and efficient lighting, to entire house designs which can support the electrical loads of a modern home or lodge. Depending on your power requirements we can provide design services and equipment for the customer that would like self install; or we can provide complete installation services.
